UNS N08800 is a subset of super austenitic stainless steel components. UNS N08800 plate features a premium chemical composition of nickel, iron, and chromium with additions of copper, silicon, and molybdenum. High strength Inconel 800 plate exhibits enhanced corrosion resistance and excellent oxidation resistance in a range of stress-inducing environments. The molybdenum content in UNS N08800 plate gives it excellent resistance to pitting and oxidants in aqueous systems.
